Birnin Kebbi – The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) would partner with the Kebbi State Centre for the treatment of Vesico Vaginal Fistula(VVF).
The Global Director of the Agency,Dr Laura Romanzhi, told the newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Monday when he visited the centre that Agency would enhance the treatment and cure of patients.
The Facility Manager of the centre, Dr Abubakar Dakingari, told the director said the centre had conducted successful surgeries on patients, stressing that the patronage had increased.
He said that the centre also engaged out patients with skills training to enable them to survive on their own.

He explained that the centre would collaborate with the Agency for effective treatment of VVF pateints.
The Permanent Secretary in the state’s Ministry of Women Affairs, Hajiya, Rafa’atu Hammani, commended USAID for partnering with the centre and assured that efforts would be made to sustain the relationship. (NAN)
