Varsity bans students from entering campus with vehicles

Maiduguri- The authorities of the University of Maiduguri on Tuesday banned students from entering the campus with vehicles.
The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Tanko Mohammed, said the measure was taken to checkmate the activities of suicide bombers.
Mohammed said that the institution’s authorities had directed that security operatives to check students and visitors at all entry points of the institution.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Maiduguri metropolis recorded three suicide bombers’ attacks within one week in November. (NAN)
