(OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun, says there is a spiritual dimension to the development of the institution. [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
Omole said this during the university’s fourth edition of its annual Thanksgiving and Prayer Programme held on Friday on the university’s campus.
“ The matter of life is beyond research and the intelligence of professors and it is only through God that[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″] the achievements made so far have been possible.
“There is nothing special about man; for man to be alive, it is by the grace of God,” he said.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
Omole recalled that before he became vice-chancellor, the visitation panel to the university went round and resolved that the problem of the institution was spiritual.
He said this informed his setting aside of January every year to be observed for prayers and thanksgiving by the university community.
Omole said the spiritual exercise would result in corporate grace.
