MINNA – The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, Prof. Musbau Akanji on Friday inaugurated the new management board of the university’s Search FM 92.3 Radio Station.
Speaking during the inauguration, the vice chancellor charged the members to nurture the station and enforce the ethics of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Akanji congratulated them and urged them to keep up the standard of the radio station.
He urged the board members to ensure that the station served as a training medium and provide exposure to students in media-related courses of the institution.
The vice chancellor lauded the radio station for its effective programming and the students’ volunteers for their sacrifices to the growth of the radio station.
He said that the station would soon be equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities.
In his response, Dr Segun Oyero thanked the university management for the responsibility vested on them to adhere strictly to the ethics of NBC.
He said the board would double as the management for the station in a bid to ensure that the station provided constant connection to the university and all that it stood for through rich, quality programming. (NAN)
