Wamakko says will not bequeath uncompleted projects to successor in 2015

SOKOTO – Gov. Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State has assured administration will not bequath uncompleted projects to successor 2015.

stated Wamakko made this known when he inspected some projects being executed by the .

Wamakko, therefore, directed the state Ministry of Works to sustain their stringent supervision of the projects, saying: “the will not condone the snail-speed and shoddy execution of projects.

“The will not therefore hesitate to wield the big stick any or contractor who is found wanting this direction,’’ he said

He reiterated resolve to ensure the completion of all ongoing projects before the expiration of tenure in May, 2015.

The governor directed all projects be completed on schedule and according to the specifications.

“This is to enable the of the state to reap more dividends of democracy the government,” he added.

The projects inspected were the College of Agriculute, Wurno, the Secretariat complex of Goronyo Local Government and the N2.8 52km Gidan Sale-Tidibale-Maillale Road in Isa and Sabon-Birni Local .

The were N1.5 37.1km Rundi-Katami Road in Silame Local Government and the 45km Balle-Kurdulla-Niger Republic Road in Gudu Local Government. (NAN)
