ABUJA – Nduka Ugbade, the Assistant Coach of Flying Eagles, said on Saturday in Abuja that the team was ready for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Germany.
Ugbade, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said the team would be leaving for Germany Saturday night for their training tour.
According to him, the team’s preparation had been wonderful.
“ Our preparation has be so wonderful to the extent. We are ready for the World Cup and we have our training tour in Germany.
“ We are leaving today for that and we were to leave last week but because of our visa processing constraint, we could not but we are leaving today.

He, however, added that four of the team’s foreign based players would join the camp in Germany.
“ We are sure our foreign based players would join us in camp.
“ They would be joining us at the early days of this month, from next or the middle of this month, we start training immediately we get to Germany, ‘’ Ugbade said.
He added that their training would commence on Monday after a day’s rest from their trip.
NAN reports that the FIFA U20 World Cup is scheduled for May 30th in New Zealand. (NAN)
