Port Harcourt-Dr Dakuku Peterside, APC gubernatorial candidate in Rivers, on Monday said his administration would achieve security through job creation.
Peterside stated this during an interface with journalists in Port Harcourt.
He said that he would involve in particular, the private sector in the security programme of the state.
The candidate stressed the need for private sector participation in his administration’s security plan for enhanced businesses.
He said that his administration would vigorously pursue the vision of a united and prosperous Rivers where everyone would be proud to own property.

Peterside stated his readiness to transform the state by consolidating on the achievements of Gov. Chibuike Amaechi.
“I am a stronger believer of the mono rail project and we will continue with it.
“We shall also implement the water master plan aimed at ensuring that every home accesses water”, he said.
Peterside, who said that his government would deepen its participation in the oil and gas industry, added that he would also improve on agriculture and aquaculture.
He, however, called on Rivers people to assess him based on his manifesto which he said was people-oriented. (NAN)
