PORT HARCOURT (Sundiata Post) – The National Judicial Council (NJC) has recommended the extension of the appointment of the Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State, Hon. Justice Daisy Okocha from 1st December , 2015 to 15th January, 2016.
Consequently, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has approved the extension of Okocha’s appointment.
According to a statement made available to Sundiata Post by Simeon Nwakaudu, Wike’s specia assistant, electronic media, in the same vein, the National Judicial Council has recommended the extension of the appointment of Hon. Justice Christy Gabriel-Nwankwo as the Acting President of Rivers State Customary Court of Appeal for an additional period of three months.

Following the recommendation, Wike has approved the extension of Justice Gabriel-Nwankwo’s appointment for another three months.
