PORT HARCOURT (Sundiata Post) – Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has promised to ensure that the people of the state have access to quality tertiary education, to fast track the state’s development .
Wike spoke during an inspection visit to the Faculty of Law building at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST).
The governor said that his administration would ensure the development of facilities and academic programmes in tertiary institutions in the state.
He said that tertiary education would be given priority attention as his administration is committed to the training of professionals to develop the state.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work at the Faculty of Law building of RSUST.
The governor urged the contractor to ensure that the facility is completed as scheduled and in line with approved specifications.
He said: “I am happy with the pace of work at the Faculty of Law building of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. I shall continue to monitor this project until it is completed, commissioned and put to use.

Chairman of Emmachex Nigeria Limited, Prince Emma Anyanwu, who conducted the governor round the facility, assured him that the project would be concluded on schedule.
