World Cup: Nigerians in South Africa have confidence in Keshi, Eagles – Okparaugo

HARCOURT – Nigerians living in Western Cape Province of Africa, said on Sunday that they had faith in the ability of the Eagles excel at the world cup.

The of the Union in the Province, Mr Azu Okparaugo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on from Cape Town, that the Eagles had the potentials put spectacular performance.

He said that the performance of the home-based Eagles at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) early this year in Africa, was a pointer what the team could do in a major tournament like the world cup.

Okparaugo said Nigerians living in Western Cape Province of Africa, had doubt in their minds that Keshi and players would do the country proud.

“Nigerians to change their mind set on the team. We do not have to write the Eagles . We believe in them.

“We believe in Stephen Keshi and boys. South Africans are watching Stephen Keshi for what he is doing for the Eagles; I do not know why we Nigerians cannot have confidence in him.”, he said.

The urged the Eagles, to be focused and take each seriously. (NAN)
