Badagry (Lagos State)- The Akran of Badagry, Aholu Menu-Toyi 1, has called on Nigerians, especially Christians, to pray for peace and unity in order to solve the problems facing the country.
He made the call on Thursday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Badagry.
The traditional ruler sued for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians and socio-economic stability in the country.
“This is the time for Nigerians to unite and stand for one cause because without unity and peace we will not be able to solve our problems.
“We want stability and peace in Nigeria. Politicians should know when to put their differences aside to avoid disagreements, as crisis will not allow any country to develop.
“Once stability and peace can be sustained we will be able to achieve so many things, especially in building infrastructure for socio-economic development,’’ he said.
The traditional ruler advised Nigerians to cooperate with the Federal Government so as to move the country forward. (NAN)
