This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Lagos by the local council.
The statement said that Mr Jide Jimoh, the Chairman of Yaba LCDA, adopted the use of e-learning tools to improve education, with the support of information technology experts in the area.
It also quoted Jimoh as saying that the e-learning materials would be of help to students of the LCDA.
“The initiative branded ‘Yaba E-learning Empowerment card’, is an internet-based educational solution.
“That will give students from the primary school stage, secondary and post-secondary levels a unique opportunity to access examination past questions and address problems that are usually associated with examination failure ,” he said.
Jimoh said that the e-learning solution could be accessed on a computer or a smart phone through the card which contains a protected code for every user.
“Students in Yaba LCDA will be given Yaba E-learning Empowerment card to sign up for different categories of examination questions and answers,” he further explained. (NAN)
