Kaduna – The National Orientation Agency (NOA), on Tuesday called on Nigerians to celebrate the yuletide season within the confines of the law and obey traffic rules and regulations.
The Kaduna State Director of NOA, Zubair Galadima-Soba, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna that living in peace during any celebration is essential to guarantee security of lives and properties.
“I call on all Nigerians to celebrate the yuletide season in peace and harmony; the Christmas celebration enjoins faithfuls to practice love, fear of God and ensure that they do things within the rule of law.
“ The principle of Christianity also teaches good neighborliness; therefore, we enjoin all Christians and other faithfuls to be good citizens of Nigeria and follow the teachings of their religion,” he said.
The director urged other faithfuls to share in the joy of the Christmas celebration by doing things that would bring unity and love in the country.
Galadima-Soba said that there is need for the motorists to be careful while driving during the season.
“The rate of transits is usually hing at this period and incident of reckless driving could lead to loss of lives and properties,” he said.
