The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that on Dec. 30, 2024, the state hosted ‘Lagos Tourism is Rising’, an activation event aimed at appreciating Nigerians in the diaspora and international visitors for choosing Lagos as their holiday destination.
The event also showcased the city’s rich cultural heritage through an exclusive tour across Lagos state.
The tour began in Ikoyi and Victoria Island with a convoy of 10 LagRide vehicles, 10 bikers from the Bikers’ Community, a roadshow tour bus, and vibrant music, all embodying the spirit of Lagos in action.
The tour included a stop at the J. Randle Museum, where visitors explored near-extinct Nigerian cultures.
Actor Femi Adebayo also shared insights into his newly released film, Seven Doors, highlighting its cultural significance.
The group later visited the Nike Art Gallery, where they admired a variety of artistic works.
According to Aregbe, the “Lagos Tourism is Rising” initiative is meant to appreciate everyone for visiting the state.
