…Jonathan wishes Zimbabweans peaceful and successful elections

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former Nigerian President and the leader of Joint African Union (AU), Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Dr Goodluck Jonathan and his election observer members were out early this morning to observe the opening procedures and early voting at Louis Mountbatten Primary School, Belvedere Primary School C and Belvedere Technical Teachers College C, all in Harare, as Zimbabweans go the polls today to vote in their next president.
This is coming also as he has wished the people of the Republic of Zimbabwe peaceful and successful elections.
In a statement released via his Facebook page few on Wednesday, Jonathan said they were out early this morning to observe the opening procedures and early voting at Louis Mountbatten Primary School, Belvedere Primary School C and Belvedere Technical Teachers College C, all in Harare.
The statement reads;
As Zimbabweans vote today in the 2023 Harmonised Elections we, members of the Joint African Union/COMESA EOM, were out early this morning to observe the opening procedures and early voting at Louis Mountbatten Primary School, Belvedere Primary School C and Belvedere Technical Teachers College C, all in Harare.
I wish the people of the Republic of Zimbabwe peaceful and successful elections. GEJ
Sundiata Post recalls that Jonathan and his election observers arrived Harare on Monday ahead of the election. Upon their arrival, Jonathan said they were looking forward to a fulfilling experience.
