As the 2023 general election draw nearer, the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on Monday said his administration will complete the construction of LAUTECH campus in Iseyin town.
The governor, who spoke during his campaign rally in Kara Market, said the government has reconstructed the 65 km Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road.
Makinde disclosed this via his official Twitter handle.
He said, “Yesterday, we resumed our campaigns in Iseyin where we held rallies at the Kara Market; Oju Oja in Ado Awaye; and Odo Oba in Iseyin. In this LGA, we reconstructed the 65 km Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road and we are constructing the Iseyin Campus of LAUTECH, among other projects.”
SundiaPost recalls that Makinde is one of the G-5 governors (Integrity Group) seeking the resignation of the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu.
