Ikeja, – A 26-year-old man, Fandi David, on Tuesday appeared before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing aluminum windows worth N5.525,000 million.
David, whose residential address was not provided, is facing a three-count charge of conspiracy, stealing and burglary.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor, Insp. Funmi Akinleye, said that the defendant and others still at large committed the offences on Jan 16, on Awolowo Way, Ikeja.
She said that the defendant burgled an office apartment on the third floor of a building and stole 24 aluminum glass windows worth N5.525,000 million, property of one Dr Obafunso Peter.
According to her, the offences contravene Section 411, 280 and 287 (7) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Magistrate, Mrs O.O. Fajana, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Fajana adjourned the case until Feb. 27 for mention. (NAN)
