LAGOS – The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Monday said it was expecting 29 ships in Lagos ports from Jan. 12 to Jan. 31.
The NPA stated this in its daily publication, the ‘Shipping Position,’ made available to newsmen in Lagos.
A breakdown showed that 15 of the expected ships would arrive with containers, while six others would[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″] arrive with general cargo.
The document indicated that seven ships would arrive with food items like frozen fish, rice, buckwheat [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]and bulk sugar.
It stated that a ship was expected to arrive with used vehicles.
The document explained that 11 ships had arrived at the ports with frozen fish, rice and general cargo.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
It indicated that nine others had also arrived at the ports with petroleum products like base oil, petrol and diesel.
The document showed that the 20 ships were waiting to berth. (NAN)
