A report by Sahara Reporters alledgely states that the agents of the All Progressive Congress (APC) are inducing voters by buying their votes. It was gathered that before casting their votes, voters were directed to a house not far from the polling unit, covered with posters of Isiaka Oyetola, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The video from Sahara Reporters below shows electorates lining up to get paid:
The recording could however, not be completed as the party agent became suspicious, so they told the voters to leave for the moment and return within the next one hour. NAIJ.com previously reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been trading blames over allegations of vote-buying, accusing each other of trying to sway voters by offering electorate money for their votes.
The PDP accused the ruling party of planning to buy votes with billions of naira in order to manipulate the people to vote for the ruling party’s candidate, Gboyega Oyetola. The opposition party denied that its candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, was collecting bank details of the electorate through a WhatsApp number in order to buy their votes.
