Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Ebiraland has been thrown into mourning with the news of the death of their paramount ruler, the Ohinoyi, Dr AbdulRahman Ado Ibrahim.
He died on Sunday at the age of 94.
Palace sources was quoted to have said that the monarch died in an Abuja hospital where he had been receiving treatment for age-related ailment.
Dr. Ado Ibrahim, born on February 7, 1929, was the fourth traditional ruler and the current Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, a traditional state headquartered in Okene, Kogi State.
Before ascending the throne, he was a successful businesman who lived most parts of his life in Lagos.
His remains will be buried today in Okene according to the Islamic rites.
