Abuja (Sundiata Post) – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has told Nigerian youths that their demands have been heard loud and clear.
The President disclosed this in his nationwide broadcast on Sunday.
He spoke in reaction to the ongoing hardship protests which commenced on Thursday.
The protests have reportedly led to the death of at least fifteen persons, and properties looted and destroyed.
Speaking on the loss of lives and properties, Tinubu said, “I commiserate with the families and relations of those who have died in the protests. We must stop further bloodshed, violence, and destruction”.
He added “My dear Nigerians, especially our youth, I have heard you loud and clear. I understand the pain and frustration that drive these protests, and I want to assure you that our government is committed to listening and addressing the concerns of our citizens”.
