It was discovered that he was freed on Thursday evening.
In the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state, Bot was kidnapped on Wednesday night along Lamingo Road Junction.
He was driving in his Honda Hennessy gold vehicle after work had ended at 8pm when the tragedy occurred.
The pharmacist was released in Jos on Friday, according to family sources.
The pharmacist, according to one of them, was released without any conditions, despite the criminals’ initial demand for an undisclosed sum of money as ransom.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment, the source continued.
He thanked God for preserving Bot’s life, whom he praised as a decent man.
Pharmacist Kim Bot has been released to the glory of God, the family member stated. “He is currently receiving medical care in a Jos hospital. We are really grateful to God for saving his life and to the security personnel for working to get him out.”
