Barca’s Amor to help Adelaide United

Barcelona great, Guillermo Amor has agreed to spend a month as a consulting coach Australian A-League side Adelaide United.
Amor, 46, who scored four goals for Spain 37 internationals, travel to Australia at request of Adelaide coach and fellow Spaniard Josep Gombau.
Gombau said he is attempting to implement a Barcelona-style, possession-based game at Adelaide and asked Amor to observe United’ and offer advice. “I want to see how a style such as this is being implemented a place where is not common.”[eap_ad_2]
Gombau, who Barcelona’ youth coach from 2003 to 2009, has previously signed Spanish midfielders Isaias Sanchez and Sergio Cirio for Adelaide.
