Ikeme, who is eligible to play for Nigeria and was called up years ago saved a 58th minute penalty from Owen Garvan and was unbeatable when Bolton mounted a late charge to try and snatch a point.
“We did pretty well in the first half and we also had a great chance at the start of the second half when Scott Golbourne had a header cleared off the line,” Jackett told Sky Sports.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper started out with the Wolves youth setup but has been farmed out to numerous clubs including Middlesbrough, Stockport County, Leceister City and most recently Doncaster Rovers.
Eligible to play for Nigeria through his father, the goalkeeper has been touted by many as the best goalkeeper outside the Barclays Premiership with outstanding displays in goal for Wolves this season.
Ikeme’s development has been blighted by injuries and inconsistent performances, but he seems to have turned a corner this season with his eye catching displays in the Championship in England where he has helped Wolverhampton Wanderers to third position on the log after eight matches.
He was invited to the national team but did not get to play any official game for the Super Eagles. (supersport.com)[eap_ad_3]
