Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Lagos State – the epicentre of COVID-19 accounted for 774 infections out the 1,244 new cases confirmed on Monday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said.
The report released by the health agency via it’s twitter handle said the other states where new infections were recorded are as follows:

The NCDC said the newly confirmed infections increased the total confirmed cases to 101,331 out of which 80,491 patients have been discharged from various isolation facilities in Nigeria.
The report also stated that 1,361 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported in February 2020.
