BENIN – Dr Osahon Enabulele, immediate past President of Nigerian Medical Association, has commended Federal Government for lifting the suspension on residency training and recalling 16,000 Resident Doctors.
Enabulele made the commendation in a statement given to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Benin on Saturday.
He said “I received with gladness the news of the Presidential directive reversing the ill-advised suspension of the residency training and sack of 16,000 resident doctors in Nigeria
“I commend President Goodluck Jonathan for listening to the voices of reason by his statesmanlike decision to unconditionally reverse the directives.’’ [eap_ad_1] Enabulele also praised the Senate President, David Mark, the Speaker, House of Rep, Aminu Tambuwal and other well-meaning Nigerians for “their patriotic, dependable and objective roles in the resolution of the trade dispute.’’
He urged the federal government to “adopt more positive, objective and statesmanlike approaches toward resolving the challenges befuddling Nigeria’s health sector.
