Nigeria Football Federation’s FIFA Advisor and Consultant on refereeing, Linus Mba, has become the first casualty of the world football body’s suspension order on Nigeria.
In a statement on Monday, a member of CAF Media Committee Paul Bassey said Mba, who was appointed three weeks ago as the Match Commissioner for the Sierra Leone versus Seychelles African Cup of Nations qualifier in Freetown on July 19, had been replaced.[eap_ad_1]
Bassey said the retired FIFA referee and former member of the CAF Referees Committee got a letter from CAF on Monday regretting his replacement.
Mba had received a mail from the General Secretary of the Sierra Leone Football Association Chris Kamara that his tickets and other documents to him and the referees were to be sent by Wednesday.
