Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu recently made a shocking revelation on his Instagram account, sharing a deeply distressing experience from his teenage years.
In a candid post, the actor said that he was sexually abused by a Catholic priest when he was just 14 years old.
Taking to Instagram, Maduagwu shared his personal story, expressing the profound impact the incident had on his life.
He revealed that the traumatic experience led him to distance himself from the Catholic Church as he grew older.
He wrote:
“I will never forget when I was molested by a priest at age 14. This was why I stopped going to
Catholic church when I grew up, so many kids are going through this daily but the church always tries to
cover it up, Government of Nigeria and the #POPE need to look into this, I’m in my late 30s but every time | look back at what he did to me in his Office, I weep”.
