LAGOS – Athletes at the ongoing Lagos State Sports Festival, tagged `Ibile Games’ on Sunday observed a break, to ward-off fatigue, an official said.

“We want our athletes to perform at optimal levels, so that we can get good results to show for the huge investment in the festival.
“The Lagos State Government attaches high premium on sports, with the aim of using it to gainfully engage the youths,” Aladegbemi said.
According to him, the break will afford the athletes the opportunity to relax and compete in the rest of the events with renewed zeal.
