Governor Okorocha stated this in a breakfast meeting with the group that called on him in Government House, Owerri.
He recalled that the emergence of Rochas Foundation was out of his love for the physically challenged in the society, and urged them not to be politically motivated in any of their actions.
The governor recounted some of his achievements in the state towards the upliftment of the physically challenged which include school for the blind under construction and psychiatric hospital which are all under construction.
While assuring them of his concern for their well being, Gov. Okorocha pledged to empower the physically challenged in the state as well as urged them to come up with programmes that will uplift their standard of living.
The spokesman of the group, Mr. Stanley Nwachukwu commended governor Okorocha for his unflinching support to the association especially in the area of employment and however requested that more employment be given to graduates who are still coming out from their schools in their numbers.
Mr. Nwachukwu called on members of the association to give maximum support to the rescue mission government of Owelle Okorocha.
