Ibadan- The Japanese International Donor Agency on Tuesday approved the construction of 225 classrooms across Oyo State.
Mr Ninami Naoyuki, the leader of the Japanese delegation disclosed this during a courtesy call on Gov. Abiola Ajimobi in Ibadan.
Mr Naoyuki said that the agency was determined to rescue primary schools in the state from infrastructure challenges by creating conducive atmosphere for learning.

“Selected schools in the state will benefit from a total of 225 classrooms with basic furniture and modern facilities,’’ he said.
Speaking, the governor expressed delight over the Japanese government readiness to assist the state to develop its education sector.
He said that Oyo State had the largest number of students’ population in Nigeria which made the state to qualify for more of such assistance from the agency.
He said: “The state is currently faced with the challenges of infrastructure, qualified teachers and the required teaching aides.” (NAN)
