Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi will again be offered assistance by the NFF when he meets the technical committee later this month.
A top NFF official told KickOffNigeria.com that the offer, just like the first one, will be made in good faith and only the coach can decide what he wants.
“There was no attempt to impose anybody on the coach. What we did was ask him if he needed someone to help with scouting the opposition properly. He said no and we moved on.
“So it was a bit shocking to read that the NFF was trying to impose a technical assistant on the coach.”
With just weeks to the World Cup, Keshi will get the offer on the table again.
“We would like him to have somebody competent to do a proper analysis of the other teams, and that is what he will be asked. But it is up to him to say yes or no.”
The meeting is scheduled for April 22 at Abuja. (kickoffnigeria)
