Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Nigeria has recorded 156 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases to 64,884, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said.
The NCDC stated this in the report it released via twitter handle late Friday night.
According to the report, the 156 new infections were recorded from 11 states including the FCT as follows;
Lagos-70
FCT-22
Kaduna-18
Rivers-15
Plateau-11
Ogun-10
Bauchi-3
Katsina-3
Kano-2
Ekiti-1
Osun-1
The health agency also stated that 60,936 patients have been discharged from across the various isolation facilities in the country since the index case while 1,163 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related ailments.
