Akure- Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure on Sunday secured the maximum points from their week six match in the 2014/2015 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) by beating Wikki Tourists FC.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that it was however a hard-earned victory for the hosts in the match against the visitors from Bauchi at the Akure Township Stadium.
Adebayo Adigun scored in the 90th minute to secure the winner for the home team in the game which ended 3-2.
Mubarak Umar had put the visitors in the lead in the 37th minute before Paul Onobi equalised in the 45th minute.
Nafiu Bala later put the visitors up again in the 58th minute, before Tamen Medriano drew the home team level in the 70th minute.

Kennedy Boboye, the Sunshine Stars coach, later told newsmen after the game that the team displayed the “never die’’ attitude in them to earn the victory.
Boboye added that he was happy his team won the match in the end.
He however said he would ensure that he worked more on his team’s strikers for them to be more clinical in front of goal.
NAN reports that two red cards were awarded in the match, with Emmanuel Olowo being sent off in the 37th minute of the first half.
Emenike Onuoha of Wikki Tourists was also sent off in the 90th minute of the game.(NAN)
