The monarchs led by the Olusin of Isanlu-Isin, Oba Solomon Oloyede, also prayed for the success of all PDP candidates in the  forthcoming elections.

The prayer session, which  was held at the palace of   the traditional ruler, had Ajibola in attendance as well as other dignitaries from across the state.

Oloyede said God would  use Jonathan, Ajibola and other PDP candidates as instruments to realise His divine purpose for the country and the state.

Also speaking at the forum,  a  PDP stalwart, Mr Samuel Adedayo, recounted the  contributions of Ajibola to the growth and development of Isin community.

Adedayo, who  lamented  the state government’s  neglect of the area, said  it took the magnanimity of  Oloyede to personally embark on renovation of Isanlu-Isin General Hospital built in 1968.

Adedayo  called on the people of the area to reciprocate  Ajibola’s gesture by casting their votes for Jonathan, Ajibola and all PDP candidates on March 28 and April 11.

In his remarks, Ajibola assured the traditional rulers  that he would not disappoint them if elected as governor.

Ajibola also promised to improve on the welfare of traditional rulers in order to elevate their status.

He said the poor condition  of infrastructure  in the state was as a result of  indiscriminate deductions from  local governments accounts.

Ajibola promised to look into the grading of  traditional rulers  and appealed to them to remain steadfast in their support.

In his own remarks, the Senior Special Adviser to the President  on National Assembly Matters, Sen. Suleiman Ajadi,  said Gov.  Abdulfatah Ahmed has failed the people of the area. (NAN)
