Lagos – An architecture firm, Spacefinish,
on Saturday said that reinventing a workplace would boost productivity and creativity.
Spacefinish’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Remi Dada, said in a statement in Lagos that the right office environment would make local companies to become more innovative, productive and collaborative.
He advised that offices should move away from rigid spaces into spaces that would be more dynamic and support employees’ work.
Dada called for building of innovative workspaces similar to what was obtainable in tech communities such as Silicon Valley.
He noted that such a desire motivated the work done on Vibranium Valley, a hub for technology and innovation startups in Lagos.
He noted that the Vibranium Valley,
recently launched by Venture Garden Group in Lagos, included a conference room, training room, meeting rooms, skylounge, cafeteria, audio studio, and multiple alternative workspaces.
“The 2,500 square meter world-class tech hub located at the former Concord Press Office in Ikeja, is now being described as the largest in sub-Saharan Africa,” he said.
