Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, departed Abuja on Saturday, January 25, for visits to Kebbi and Borno States, just a day after returning from the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communication, shared a video confirming the vice president’s engagements in the two states.
Shettima was accompanied by several top officials, including Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Abubakar Kyari, and APC National Chairman-North Bukar Dalori.
Nkwocha did not specify the duration of the trip or when Shettima is expected to return to Abuja.
