Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie has said he is satisfied with the reception the team has had since their arrival at the Hotel Campiness in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
The Stoke City forward made the declaration via his twitter handle account @osazeofficial “nice reception by the Brazilians, enjoyed every moment so far, Sao Paolo is a beautiful city, can’t wait for our first game”
The former Lokomotiv Moscow player was only recalled to the Eagles squad recently when the provisional World Cup list was announced by Coach Keshi last month after a two year absence which was caused by a rift between the player and the manager.
As one of the most experienced players in the team much is expected of the player whose inclusion in the World Cup squad still divides opinion among many football loving Nigerians.
Super Eagles take on their Iranian counterparts on Monday by 8pm in a group F second match at the Arena da Baixada Stadium in Curitiba with both teams seeking to avoid defeat in order to have realistic hopes of advancing to the knockout stages. (Daily Trust)
