ILORIN- Mr Soliu Ibrahim, an Ilorin based legal practitioner, has advised Nigerians to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Ibrahim, who gave the advice in Ilorin on Sunday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said PVC should not be ignored at this critical time in the country.
According to him, most people are making noise and condemning politics ahead of the general elections without getting their PVCs ready.
“Your PVC is your strength to pick a choice of leadership you want for your self and nation. Find time and go for your PVC now instead of making noise.
“Give priority to PVC and don’t wait for you to be pushed before taking it serious. You can not exercise your voting rights without your PVC.
“Go to the nearest centres to get your PVC and stop blaming government every time. It is your responsibility to go and get your PVC and don’t expect anyone to bring it home to your door step,” he said.
The lawyer further called on the public to act fast and collect their PVCs instead of blaming government actions every time. (NAN)
