Lagos – Twenty six ships laden with various food items, petroleum products and other goods are expected to berth at the various terminals in Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports, Lagos, between March 4 and March 20.
This is contained in the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) daily publication- “Shipping Position’’- made available to newsmen on Friday in Lagos.

According to the publication, some of the items on board the ships include: bulk sugar, buck wheat, bulk salt, steel products and containers.
The publication stated that other items being awaited from the ships are: Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK), petrol, kerosene and empty containers.
It noted that 10 ships were waiting to berth at the various terminals.
NAN reports that nine of the waiting ships were laden with petrol, while the remaining one had butane on board.
The publication explained that 21 ships were already discharging various items at the various terminals in the ports.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that some of the items being discharged include: bulk salt, buck wheat, containers, petroleum products, bulk gas and bulk wheat. (NAN)
