Modakeke (Osun) – Four men, who allegedly stole 603 cocoa sacks valued at N102,510, were on Tuesday charged before a Modakeke Magistrates’ Court in Osun.
The accused — Joseph Oyedeji, 40; Ismaila Umoru, 45; Abiodun Oguntoyinbo, 28; and Wasiu Oguntoyinbo, 25 – are facing a three-count charge of conspiracy, stealing and buying stolen goods.
Prosecutor Ona Glory committed the offences at Star-link Global and Ideal Ltd, Orona Street, Modakeke, on Dec. 25 at about 5.30 a.m.
He said the accused conspired and stole 603 cocoa sacks valued at N102, 510 at the company and sold same to some unsuspecting buyers.

Sgt.Glory said the offences contravened Sections 390 (9), 427 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Osun.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty.
Counsel to the accused, Mr Bonaventure Ibitoye, urged the court to grant them bail on liberal terms, saying they would not jump bail.
The Magistrate, Mrs Bose Awosan, granted each of the accused bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties each in like sum.
She adjourned the case to Jan. 4, 2016 for hearing. (NAN)
