KANO – No fewer than nine countries are participating in the ongoing 35th Kano International Trade Fair, an official said IN Kano on Wednesday.
The Secretary, Trade Fair Organising Committee, Alhaji Yahaya Umar, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
“This year’s trade fair is more international since nine countries are participating, unlike that of 2013 when we had only four countries in attendance,’’ he said.
Umar, who expressed satisfaction with the number of participants, urged the residents to patronise the fair.
A participant, Mr Kenneth Etim of Remark Supper Slicer and Juicer, said the company was offering discounts on all its products, and urged people to take advantage of the slice in prices.
Another participant, Hajiya Fatima Niger, a dealer on perfumes and women’s beauty care products, said her company was also offering discounts on all products.
Abdullahi Maraya of Maraya Kitchen and Furniture, said advertisement on available products and their prices had been placed on the social media.
“The prices of our goods are cheap, ranging from N10,000 to N7,000 depending on the quality of the products,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, participants at the fair have continued to advertise their products through radio jingles on Radio Kano and other FM radio stations in the state. (NAN)
