The parents of the 91 remaining girls from the 2014 Chibok school abduction in Borno State have reached out to Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the President, seeking her intervention.
In an open letter titled “A Plea for Justice and Remembering the Chibok Girls – A Letter to Her Excellency, Mrs. Remi Tinubu,” the parents expressed their ongoing anguish and pleaded for assistance in securing the release of their daughters. They recounted the lasting pain and trauma they’ve endured over the past decade, emphasizing their unwavering hope for their daughters’ safe return.
The parents requested an opportunity to meet with Mrs. Tinubu, seeking her advocacy and support in their quest for justice and reunion with their missing daughters. They concluded with gratitude for her consideration and urged action on behalf of the Chibok girls and their families.
