Enugu – Hundreds of part time job seekers on Friday flooded the 27th Enugu International Trade Fair ground in search of temporary working places as fair kicks-off, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
NAN also reports that the part time job seekers are mostly students from the State College of Education; Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu; Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) and University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC).

The fair is scheduled to last for 10 days between March 25 and April 4.
One of the students, Emmanual Ejioha, told NAN in an interview that his school just finished its examination two days ago, and he would want to use the opportunity of the fair to make “small pocket money’’.
“I wish to secure a temporary job during this fair to keep me busy and get some experience before I go back to school next semester,’’ Ejioha, who is a Mass Communication student of IMT, said.
Another student, Miss Helen Ugwu, said that she wished to get a temporary job to keep her busy and take off the boredom at home.
“With the present economic reality, it is not fair for someone to remain idle or stay at home doing nothing,’’ Ugwu said.
However, Miss Ijeoma Chigbo, said she was fortunate to have gotten a job with GeePee Tank Limited on a condition that she would be paid according to the number of customers she attracted.
“And I am working hard to meet the target of the company and possibly go beyond it.
“So that I might be retained in the company even after the fair,’’ Chigbo, an undergraduate student of ESUT, said. (NAN)
