Abuja {Sundiata Post} – The plot to impeach the Senate President Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has thickened as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole gives the party lawmakers a marching order to reconvene and remove Saraki legally and democratically.
Oshiomhole who said there is no where in the world where majority members play minority roles in the chambers, called on the lawyers who are giving justifiable interpretations to Saraki’s defection not to waste their time yet but to wait till after the impeachment and then approach the court. Stressing that the lawyers do not constitute a court of law in themselves.
He gave the order on Tuesday during the meeting with APC lawmakers in the National Assembly and the national working committee of the party held at Sheraton hotel Abuja.

Oshiomhole said the only way for Saraki to escape impeachment was to return to the party however noted that unfortunately the party cannot accept him back.
He call on the party lawmakers to take urgent steps to reconvene and deliberate on those issues suspended by the principal officers before they hurriedly send the house on recess on the Tuesday they did before the Thursday due date.

The pending issues he listed for accelerated consideration and approval are: the request for foreign loan, supplementary appropriation for Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the vairement. “If the INEC supplementary budget is not approved, the 2019 election will be jeopardized”, he said.
