Dr. Bukola Saraki, former Senate President, cconfirmed on Saturday night that he was at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, office, where he spent some hours.
He, however, claimed in a report by THISDAY that he had left the EFCC office and was back in his house in Abuja.
He reportedly told THISDAY that he was invited by the Commission for questioning.
He reportedly said there was no big deal in honouring an invitation by an institution of the state.
He was quoted to have said: “They asked to see me and after attending a wedding reception, I drove there myself. And when they were satisfied, they said I could go. That’s it.”
