atresses, Stella Damasus has aired views on the ongoing social media campaign #BringBackOurGirls – to rescue the 234 female students kidnapped by Boko Haram in Chibok, Borno state.

Stella Damasus in a Vlog published on on Sunday stated that the Nigerian government has failed to handle the Boko Haram campaign decisively.

“Nigeria has been described as the giant of Africa, the wealthiest nation and so it shocks me that such a huge crisis is going on and the world seems to turn a blind eye…The Nigerian government and GEJ are weak, Mr President Are You Too Ashamed to Ask for Help? ‘It is an open secret that the Boko Haram is a politically motivated group that cannot be reasoned with. In fact, main goal is to prove to the world that the Presidency of Goodluck Jonathan is as weak as being weak can be. And ’m sorry to say, the Federal Government, your action is proving them right.

“Mr President if this issue is beyond you, go and ask for help…. Mr President, why have you not asked for help? Are we too ashamed to ask for help?… The thing that happened to the missing girls could have happened anywhere in the world. How are the explosions in Abuja different from the bombings that happened at the Boston Marathon in 2013? The world should come to the aid of Nigeria. Dialogue cannot work. Amnesty cannot work”, she cried.
