Adamawa Govt re-designates Ministry of Information


Yola – The Adamawa Government has approved the re-designation of the state Ministry of Information to “Ministry of Information and Strategy”.

The state Commissioner for Information, Malam Ahmad Sajoh, made this known on Tuesday in a statement in Yola.

Sajoh said the approval was taken at the State Executive Council meeting.

“This new designation signifies a change in strategy, change in focus and change in information management process.

“His Excellency, Governor Muhammadu Umar Jibrilla has endorsed the new nomenclature and charged the ministry to coordinate all information strategy of the Government,’’ Sajoh said in the statement. (NAN)
