Air Force releases deployment of senior officers, directors

ABUJA – Nigerian Air Force Wednesday announced postings of its officers.

This is contained in a statement signed by Air Commodore Dele Alonge, of Air Force Relations and Information, in Abuja.

It stated that AVM M.C. Ilonyosi, former Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command was deployed Air Officer Commanding Tactical Command while AVM .A. Omeiza, moves Mobility Command as Air Officer Commanding.

Others are: AVM O.T. Oguntoyinbo, new Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command; AVM A.O.Odunlade,  Chief of Training and at Headquarters, Air Force; and AVM. . Umar, Chief of Aircraft Engineering.

Also, AVM E.N. Nzokala, Commandant Warfare Centre, AVMs E.C. Akogu, .A. Dambo and T.L. Danbaki, were posted as Air Staff Officers Mobility Command, Tactical Air Command and Training Command.

The others are: AVM M.A. Muhhammed, , Air Exposition/International and Liaison; AVM.  E.E. Agwungu, R.A. Ojuawo and .. Onuh, were deployed the Directorates of Policy, and Nigerian Air Force Transformation. [eap_ad_1] Air Commodore J.B. Adigun is the Chief of Accounts and Budget while Air Commodore J.N. Igboneme is the new Commander 33 Logistics Group.

It stated that Air Commodore E.A. Johnson, C.O. Usoh, N.A. Kolofo, . Naiya, .O. Akpassa and E.O. Akinbayo, would charge of Directorates of Air Traffic Service, , Materials and System , Education, Plans and Administration.

The statement also said that Air Commodore . Bukar becomes the new Hanger Aeronautical Technical Service Limited, while Air Commodore O.O. Akinsanya is the Air Provost Marshal.

It said that some of the newly appointed Commanders, include Air Commodore H.E.O. Eze, Commander 401 Aircraft Maintenance Deport; Air Commodore A.M. Sadique, Commander 407 Equipment Supply Depot,

The others were Air Commodore L.. Mshelia, Commander Quick Response Force; Air Commodore E.F. Golit, Commander 335 Base Services Group; and Group M.C. Nnaji, Commander 403 Electronics Maintenance Depot.

It stated that the postings and appointments which were approved by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, were with immediate effect.

The statement also stated that the appointment was in line with the transformation agenda of the present administration. (NAN)
