Yola – Hajiya Aiasha Buhari, Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday in Yola commiserated with the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Barkindo Mustapha, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Sa’adatu Mustapha.
Buhari, who visited the Lamido’s Palace, sympathised with Lamido and the family and prayed that the Almighty Allah would forgive and grant the soul of the deceased perfect peace.
“May Almighty grant the soul of our late mother with Jannatul Firdausi (paradise), ” she prayed.
Responding, Mustapha thanked the president and the wife for their condolences.
“I sincerely receive President Muhammadu Buhari’s condolence with gratitude and may Almighty reward him abundantly,” he said.

He, however, advised his subjects to always be their brothers’ eepers and live in peace with one another.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the mother of the Lamido died at the age of 87 after a brief illness.
